قصة الكتاب :
The most important of Parini’s works are his odes (Odi, published 1795), composed over a period of about 20 years.\r\nThe Odes, written between 1757 and 1795, are characterized by social and enlightenment inspiration. What is most striking is the overcoming of idyllic tones and elaborate style, to best represent the dimensions of collective life. Some of them, such as The wholesomeness of the air, which calls for measures that guarantee the city a more hygienic atmosphere, or The need, in which the abolition of torture is desired and poverty is identified as the first source of crime, reveal an intellectual attentive to the concrete, cantor of health that is also human completeness, fervor of useful activities, trust in civilization, ability to listen to the voices of a new community.
